The Designer
Explore the creepy and seductive dark art of Michelle Sellers. (Ooooh…spooky, right?)
Coming from a mostly print background, my photography and graphic design experience stems from working over nine years in media, advertising, and marketing design…ranging from layout to photo enhancement and news-style photography.
Suffocating and just plain bored, I started creating dark-themed designs as a way to tune out and relax after a long day in the newsroom…and further fueling my attraction to the assorted flavors of the horror genre.
Funny how this stuff works out.
My designs include, but are by no means limited to fantasy, horror, macabre and dark photo-manipulations and digital artwork.
The Writer
As a professional writer, I spent the majority of the last decade writing features and news stories for two small town newspapers. I also spent a few years in between newspaper jobs, writing marketing materials for a major international distributor of top educational materials (mostly books).
Presently a freelance writer, I left my job as a newspaper reporter last October to pursue other writing objectives. (It’s really hard to want to come home every night and work on a novel after interviewing and writing all day long.)

- Currently employed as a life/health product specialist for one of the leading insurance companies in the nation
- Enjoy helping other writers as an unofficial literary agent
Projects in progress (non-published works):
- Collection of real-life ghost stories from a series of interviews I’ve conducted over the past three years.
- Through the Night – a paranormal fiction
- Graphic artwork and story submissions for FATE and TAPS paramagazine
Other Interests
Documentalist / Profiler / Dream Interpreter - I’m a kind of librarian, trained in documentation and specializing in assisting paranormal investigators in scientific, technical, and psychic documentation, as well as studying behavior and environments for clues to aid in capturing evidence and to make comparisons based on previous case documentation.
